Nomination Process
Nominations are open until Sunday, August 3rd 2025.
The positions of President and Secretary are up for election for our volunteer-run organization this year.
For any elected position, candidates will need to have regularly attended business meetings and be a BMW CCA member in good standing. The candidates for an elected position must go through a short nomination/vetting process by a committee comprised of members relevant to the position being filled.
A candidate must submit their intent to run by August 3rd. A Candidate Statement and photograph should be submitted to by Wednesday, November 1st so it can be posted to our website.
Shortly thereafter, voting instructions will be sent electronically to every valid email address on file with the BMW CCA National office. The voting process will be conducted by the BMW CCA National office. If you need any additional assistance please contact .
Each year, our volunteer-run organization elects leaders of this chapter. The positions of
President and Secretary are up for election this year. Terms run for two years and will
begin January 2026. Brief position descriptions for each position are below:
Candidates for President
The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the Chapter and presides at all
Chapter meetings and provides the meeting agenda, supervises the general
functioning of the Chapter, provides an annual report to the membership on the
Chapter’s activities and financial health, and performs other executive functions as
may be required.
Candidates for Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for maintaining full and complete records of
the Chapter’s general meetings, meetings of the Board of Directors and
other special meetings as convened by the President. The Secretary takes
minutes of Chapter and Business meetings and makes them available to the
membership at least one week before the next scheduled Board meeting,
maintains records for the Chapter (except those delegated to the Treasurer),
and prepares correspondence as directed by the President or the Board of
Directors.
