Car Control Clinic
Learn the limits of your car in safety
What’s a Car Control Clinic?
Have you been curious about Autocrossing, but were not sure if it was for you? Have you attended a few autocrosses, but feel you still have a lot to learn? Did you sign up for your first High Performance Driving Event (HPDE), but have never done anything motorsports related before? Well, we have an opportunity for you!
The goal of the Car Control Clinic is to teach students the foundational skills of high-performance driving. Students learn the key concepts of vehicle dynamics, car control, and threshold braking in a safe and fun environment from our team of experienced Autocrossers and high performance driving instructors.
Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level, from new drivers learning the basics
of car control, to experienced drivers who would like to improve their car handling skills.
This school is open to all BMW CCA members. All cars are eligible to participate
including convertibles and roadsters. BMW and Porsche SAVs (X3, X5, X6, Cayenne, Macan, etc.) may participate but must be on street tires. Other trucks, SUVs, and high center of gravity vehicles are not permitted. We do have noise restrictions at this site, so please leave vehicles with load aftermarket exhausts at home.
This event is capped at 48 participants. If the event cap is reached, subsequent registrants will be placed on the wait-list. Wait-listed participants will be notified via email no later than Friday afternoon before the event if they are accepted.
