Ice Gymkhana
Because Motorsport Has No Off-Season
What is Ice Gymkhana?
Think of Ice Gymkhana Race as Autocross’s slippery cousin. Just like a traditional Autocross race where you have to race against the clock on a course guided by cones, the only difference is that you will be racing on a frozen lake! This adds a new challenge: how fast can you go around the course without spinning out or getting stuck in the snowbank?
Who Said Sports Cars are Not Winter Cars?
The annual RMC BMW CCA Ice Gymkhana event in Georgetown is the ultimate winter playground for enthusiasts! This thrilling experience is a must for members looking to sharpen their winter driving skills while having a blast. Picture yourself drifting and gliding on slippery surfaces, all while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow club members.
Whether you roll in with your trusty AWD SUV or your sleek RWD sports car, this event promises an adrenaline-fueled day. You’ll discover that it’s not just about speed; it’s about mastering the art of car control, even when you’re caught in a spin! Embrace the fun and excitement, and leave with new skills that will make you a winter driving pro!

Meet the Dream Team Behind This Event!
Tim Schultz “I have done the organizing of the event the last 5 or 6 years, and took over for my father who had run the event since the late 80’s. My brothers, and our families have helped the day of the event, along with longtime club members Fred, Carol and Grant. Each year we have a collection of folks that help with things.”
