2024 Spring Classic Driving Tour

Golden – Boulder – Nederland

Join us for the 2024 Spring Classic Driving Tour, celebrating driving on our beautiful Colorado roads!  Drive your passion and join this adventure as we spend the day exploring Golden Gate Canyon and Left-Hand Canyon. As requested, we will start early, to possibly miss some bicycle traffic. Both the canyons are a joy to drive. Be prepared for Colorado weather; we have had precipitation in previous years.

This is a 3-hour drive on public paved roads and is limited to 10 cars.

Starting Point
Meet at 5:45 am at Big Daddy Bagels in Golden, 106 N Rubey Dr, Suite D

Event Schedule

• 5:45 – Arrive at Big Daddy Bagels. Fill up at the gas station next door if needed
• 6:00-7:00 – 32-mile drive to B&F Mountain Market in Nederland via Golden Gate Canyon Road [Google Maps Link]
• 7:00-7:45 – Stop for food and drink in Nederland
• 7:45-8:45 – 29-mile drive back to Foothills Community Park in Boulder via Colorado Highway 72 and Left Hand Canyon [Google Maps Link]. Picnic at the park. Closeby food and coffee: Spruce Confections, Moxie Bread, Amante Coffee.

Registration
This a FREE event but does require registration on MotorSportReg.
Registration is limited to 10 cars. Walk-up registration is not allowed for this event.
Highway legal cars are welcome; there are no car make or model restrictions.
Membership in the RMCBMWCCA is required to attend this event. Not a member? Join today!

This driving event is held on public roads. Individuals participating must observe and abide by all traffic laws at all times.

No fee is required for driving through Golden Gate Canyon State Park if you do not stop.  If you choose to stop in the park, please pay the state park fee.
